Breaking the Habit

This is the second of a series on Linkin Park. I will use this series to explain some trivia derived from Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breaking_the_Habit) concerning the songs on my Unit 8 homepage at http://senna.sjsu.edu/swile/FranklinO/unit8/lplyrics.shtml.

Linkin Park fans commonly think that the song “Breaking the Habit” was written by Chester Bennington when the real writer was Mike Shinoda. This is because Chester was reluctant to sing a song that described the rough ordeals related to his drug abuse—Mike had originally written the song about another close friend’s drug problems.
